Ceres Memorial Hall

This month Ceres Memorial Hall Committee successfully claimed their small grant award from Fife Environment Trust to help reduce the building’s carbon footprint and running costs.

FET funded a replacement boiler, the installation of new radiators and a replacement window to help improve the public amenity for the local community. Applications to the Trust’s small grants scheme can be considered on a rolling basis.

Auchtermuchty Play Park Opens

Last month saw Auchtermuchty Community Trust draw down their FET funding award for the project to install a new natural play area at Low Road Park in Auchtermuchty.

In addition to cradle swings, junior swings and a team swing, the park also offers an adventure trim trail and wooden climbing structure complete with slide. Low grassy mounds are a new feature within the park alongside a new seesaw and roundabout.

The Community Trust successfully claimed their full award of £18,868 from Fife Environment Trust. The FET award combined with match funding secured for the works, enabled this project to progress to completion with an opening ceremony held earlier this year.
