Funding Deadlines

Please note that the next deadline for the submission of large grant applications to Fife Environment Trust is Friday 30th March 2018. The Board will meet to consider the submissions at the next meeting of the Trustees scheduled for Thursday 31st May 2018.

Applications for funding via the Small Grants Scheme can be submitted at any time.

Funding Committed

The Board of Fife Environment Trust recently met to consider 16 large grant requests for funding. Of the 16 applications submitted, the Board agreed to approve funding towards 14 projects including:

* £50,000 to Queens Hall in Charleston towards the costs associated with roof repairs;
* £50,000 to Tayport Community Trust towards a component of the wider Tayport Community Hub project – namely heating installation and solar panels;
* £49,965 to North Queensferry Community Centre towards the installation of a Multi-Use Games Area adjacent to the Community Centre building;
* £24,000 to the Dalgety Bay Woodlands Group towards the costs associated with upgrades of sections of Core Path and steps;
* £50,000 to The West Braes Project as a contribution towards the costs involved in rejuvenating Pittenweem’s outdoor sea pool; and
* £49,550 towards the costs of restoring the Abbot House building in Dunfermline.

In total, £571,730.21 was committed by the Trust for projects to improve/create public amenities or restore historic buildings.
